Marvel vs DC.... Well for this collector it was a no brainer. Nothing could compare to Batman and Superman for him. "Make Mine DC" is what he told his comic store owner as a kid growing up in a suburb of Chicago in the mid 70s. Over the years he was able to acquire a vast majority of DC superhero comics from the 60s. From this list you will notice he also delved into the Golden Age and into 70s horror. The condition of the collection varied due to the variety of sources he used to find the books and his finances. The foundation of the collection is built on Superman, Batman, Detective and Action but he also collected most of the other DC heroes like Wonder Woman and the Flash. After getting married and starting a family comics became less of a priority and he decided to sell. He has kept a few titles he really loved like Aquaman and Green Lantern. He thinks they have a lot of potential and is waiting for the movies!
