Fantastic Four #26 is an issue in which the Hulk continues an epic battle with the Thing, Reed Richards struggles with a mysterious affliction, and the Fantastic Four befuddle and later befriend the Avengers, all while trying to bring down the Green Goliath as he rampages across the pages of this classic Silver Age herofest. Unexpectedly, Wasp and Rick Jones step in to save the day by stunning Hulk and forcing him to revert back to his human form, a bit of brains over brawn never hurts. The iconic Kirby cover for this issue shows a myriad of Marvel Silver Age stars climbing up a construction site in a crazed King of the Mountain game, a true classic of the period.
