Weird Science #5 offers a classic cover from Al Feldstein and an all-star roster of EC's greatest sci-fi artists! That includes "The Last War on Earth" as one of the legendary 13 stories that Harvey Kurtzman did for EC's Weird Fantasy and Weird Science. This particular tale from 1951 offers a horrifically comic twist that foreshadows the storylines to both The Outer Limits ' "The Architects of Fear" and Alan Moore's Watchmen. The startling cover image of atomic war sets up the story of "Return" as drawn by Wally Wood. Feldstein himself pencils the robot-bride fantasy of "Made of the Future," while Jack Kamen provides art for "The Man Who Was Killed In Time."
