Sekowsky's long career began in the early 40s for Timely Comics drawing the adventures of Captain America, and Sub-Mariner among others in titles such as All Winners Comics, Daring Comics, Marvel Mystery Comics, and Young Allies Comics. He would transition to DC Comics in the 1950s where we would work on Romance and Science Fiction stories including drawing the first appearance of Adam Strange in Showcase #17.
