Artists Information
Toth began working in comics during the Golden Age at DC where he illustrated Green Lantern and other titles, after returning from military service he began working at Hanna-Barbera on cartoons like Space Ghost and the Herculoids, while continuing to work on comics, particularly in the war genre.
Kevin Nowlan is an American comics artist who works as a penciler, inker, colorist, and letterer. He has been called "one of the few artists who can be called 'artists's artist'", a master of the various disciplines of comic production, from "design to draftsmanship to dramatics". Although the majority of his work is as an inker, he has provided both pencils and lettering for various comics. He is a noted cover illustrator. Nowlan contributed character designs to Batman: The Animated Series, most notably The Penguin, The Mad Hatter and the Man-Bat.
Mike Mignola is an American comic book artist and writer best known for creating Hellboy for Dark Horse Comics, part of a shared universe of titles including B.P.R.D., Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson and various spin-offs. He has also created other supernatural and paranormal themed titles for Dark Horse including Baltimore, Joe Golem and The Amazing Screw-On Head.
Dave Gibbons is a self taught English Comic book artist, who began in the industry doing pencils for British underground comics. Gibbons later grew to fame illustrating pages for DC's Green Lantern and Doctor Who weekly published by Marvel. Dave Gibbons most notable projects was the highly admired Watchmen (1986) written by Alan Moore.
Wagner is an American comic book artist and writer, most well known for his creations Grendel and Mage. He has also contributed memorable work to Batman, The Demon, Zorro and The Shadow.
