Artists Information

Klaus Janson is a German-born American comics artist, working regularly for Marvel Comics and DC Comics and sporadically for independent companies. While he is best known as an inker, Janson has frequently worked as a penciler and colorist. Janson began working for DC Comics in the early 1980s and inked Gene Colan's pencils on Detective Comics and Jemm, Son of Saturn. Janson was one of the artists on Superman #400 (Oct. 1984) and was one of the contributors to the DC Challenge limited series. His collaboration with Miller on Daredevil would soon be eclipsed by a second collaboration between them, on Batman: The Dark Knight Returns in 1986. Janson inked the early issues of The Sensational Spider-Man which had been written and penciled by Dan Jurgens. Janson's work as an inker and occasional penciler at Marvel Comics includes collaborations with John Romita Jr. on Wolverine, The Amazing Spider-Man and Black Panther.

Adi Gravnor is a Bosnian-American Comic artist who began his career as storyboard and conceptual artist. Fans of the Marvel cinematic universe would especially recognize Gravnors works as he was the key artist for several of the films; including the first Iron Man movie and the Avengers (2012), while his most notable comic book works include the Iron Man: Extremis story line. There is certainly a cinematic feel to Adi Gravnor's style as he uses a hyper realistic painting style with dramatic action poses. Gravnor credits European comic books and American poster artists an influence to his art style as well as a few Manga artists. Though he considers himself more of a drawer rather painter, Adi's mixture of both lead to him to be one of the industries most highly sought after artists today.

John Salvatore Romita, professionally known as John Romita Jr. is an American comics artist best known for his extensive work for Marvel Comics from the 1970s to the 2010s. He is the son of award-winning artist John Romita Sr. Romita's early popularity began with his run on Iron Man with writer David Michelinie and artist Bob Layton which began in 1978. In the early 1980s, he had his first regular run on the series The Amazing Spider-Man and also was the artist for the launch of the Dazzler series. From 1983 to 1986 he had a run on the Uncanny X-Men with Dan Green and author Chris Claremont. From 1988 to 1990, Romita had an extended stint on Daredevil. He worked on a host of Marvel titles during the 1990s, including a return to Iron Man for the second "Armor Wars" story arc, written by John Byrne; The Punisher War Zone;[18] the Cable miniseries;[19] and the Punisher/Batman crossover. In 2006, Romita collaborated with writer Neil Gaiman on a seven-issue miniseries reinterpretation of Jack Kirby's characters the Eternals. In 2014 Romita Jr. became the penciller of the DC Comics flagship title Superman, starting with issue #32, in collaboration with writer Geoff Johns.
