Mike Badilino defeats two Firm agents who attacked him in his apartment, but is overpowered by their companion, the super powered female Heart Attack, who demands information on Ghost Rider; a phone call from Mike's task force, informing him Ghost Rider is in Greenwich Village, provides Mike a momentary distraction, and he escapes. In the Village, Ghost Rider is battling Death Ninja when Suicide intervenes, still wanting to die and needing Ghost Rider around for that to happen. Deciding the two deserve one another, Ghost Rider departs, and the ninja angrily impales a happy Suicide. Entering an alley, Ghost Rider becomes Dan, but Caretaker unexpectedly appears to chastise him for leaving the fight.
