Dan Adkins cvr; 1st app. of the Cobalt Man and Candy Southern; COMIC BOOK IMPACT rating of 6 (CBI)Cobalt Man is the villain of the month in issue #31 of the X-Men, Ralph Roberts, a scientist and athlete who attends college with Jean Grey injures his head in an event, and later, while showing off his Cobalt Man uniform, goes mad, heading on a rampage of destruction that draws the attention of the X-Men who are currently visiting Marvel Girl at her school. Roberts' jealousy and hatred of Tony Stark are part of the elements that factor into his break from reality, once subdued the crazed student reverts back to his old self. This is not the first time the X-Men and Avengers have shared a storyline, and it would not be the last, since Marvel let it be known there is an MCU project in the works featuring a battle between the two superteams, any issue that crosses over the heroes should be on investors' radar.
