The espionage and crime tales presented in this issue are illustrated by some of the most notable artists DC had in their bullpen, Bernard Baily and Creig Flessel both contributing their esteemed talents to Hourman and Sandman features respectively. Revered draftsman Jack Burnley lends his hand to the Starman story, as well as an amazing cover for this classic book that hailed from a more innocent time in America, right before everything would radically change due to the gathering storm overseas. As most Golden Age collectors know by now, any comic hailing from the Edgar Church pedigree is guaranteed to be a marquee draw at auction. The preservation of Mile High books is the stuff of legend, which makes each and every comic from this amazing selection a true event when one comes up on the block. This copy of Adventure Comics #63 is one of the two highest graded examples on the CGC census, and with a scant 18 overall, this book is painfully difficult to find on the market. The hallmark bright colors, sturdy construction, and Mile High prestige combine to ensure this will be a sleeper hit in EA50.
